The Measures

 

"The Measures" explores the origins of the metric system during the violence and upheaval of the French Revolution. Along the way, Goss and Perlin look at the intertwining of political and personal turmoil, the failure of standardisation and the intricacies of collaboration. The publication appeared on the occasion of the film "The Measures" by Jacqueline Goss and Jenny Perlin.
